When it comes to the Chameleon sourcing standard, for us, the path to the best cup of coffee involves a conscious approach to bean sourcing, inventive roasting, and meticulous brewing. But why should our sustainability efforts stop there? Mother Nature provided the best coffee beans our coffee craftsmen could hope for, so it’s only fair that we show her a little love in return.

Leftover coffee grounds make for an excellent fertilizer for acid-loving plants like roses, hydrangeas, and Camilla’s. It’s as simple as packing them into the soil near the base of these plants for extra nourishment.

Blueberries, strawberries and other citrus fruit like used coffee grounds added to their soil since they help balance out acidic PH level that’s the plants need to flourish. In addition to nourishment, coffee ground can also be used as a liquid feeder for plants and help to deter bugs!

In celebration of Earth Day, we encourage you to make the most of your coffee- even after the last sip. It’s a small effort that goes a long way in giving back to our precious planet.
