Tapping Into: Prohibition Creamery
Not only is Austin home for our company, but it’s home to many Chameleon Cold-Brew taps. Read up on these locations in our ‘Tapping Into’ series.
While a glass of Chameleon Cold-Brew is the perfect morning booster or mid-day refresher, coffee cravings can kick back in when you least expect them. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could just order yourself a cup of Chameleon while out at some of your go-to places?
Welcome to our ‘Tapping Into’ series, where we tap into some of our favorite spots in our favorite city: Austin, Texas. Not only do these locations offer some delicious menus, they all proudly serve Chameleon Cold-Brew coffee on tap.
Scattered around ATX (and some in New York as well!) our taps allow for instant caffeination gratification. A simple pull of the lever allows for our liquid gold to fill any craving, with tasty energy to quickly touch your tastebuds. Get the scoop on our first spot on the list: Prohibition Creamery.
What it is
The boozy ‘bar-lor’ which combines alcohol and ice cream into an intoxicating delight.
Where it’s located
E. 7th Street
What to get
With a menu full of alcoholic (and non-alcoholic) flavors, shakes, cocktails, and floats, the list can be a bit overwhelming. We recommend sticking to our favorite orders, such as the mocha milkshake, cold brew coffee float, or the boozy-horchata shake (all with a splash – or more – of cold brew.)
Not only does Prohibition Creamery feature us across the menu, customers can treat themselves to our nitro tap. Short for nitrogen, this infusing process allows for a fuller, frothier, and fizzier experience. The final product is a sweet and thicker mouthfeel, with a taste good enough to drink without dilution. If looking to switch it up, you can always pour our nitro over a Stout beer, or add a splash of your favorite dairy into the mix… might we suggest ice cream?
Stay tuned for future favorite locations we will be sharing in our Tapping Into series. Thinking of grabbing a glass? Snap a picture and tag us on Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #MadeForMakers. We’d love to see how you enjoy our brew!
