While you can prepare your coffee any way you want, we recommend brewing the Single Origin Whole Bean Coffee using the Pour Over brew method.
SINGLE ORIGIN: POUR OVER
Bring about 12 oz of filtered water to a boil.
Grind 3 TBSP of coffee beans, ground to a medium coarseness.
Place a filter in a Pour Over brewer and add the ground coffee.
Pour 3 oz of boiling water over the grounds and stir fast for 10 seconds to agitate the brewing coffee. When pouring, make sure to use slow spirals, starting at the edges of the coffee filter and circling towards the center where the grounds are located.
Slowly pour the remaining 9 oz of water (continuing the slow spiral motion) over the grounds and let them drain. Total brew time is about 3 minutes.
1. Use freshly ground coffee for the richest flavor and smoothest brew.
2. Water quality makes a big impact on your coffee’s flavor! So always use clean, filtered water.
3. Brew tastes a little off? Try adjusting the grind size. If it’s light and sour, try a finer grind. If it’s dark and bitter, try a coarser grind.
