DIY Syrups for a Coffee Upgrade

Add a splash to your morning cup of Chameleon Cold-Brew Coffee with homemade syrups made from cinnamon and many more natural ingredients.

Mexican Syrup

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups cane sugar

2 cups water

6 cinnamon sticks

2 tsp almond extract

1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

1. Bring all ingredients to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes.

2. Remove from heat and let cool before refrigerating.

3. To 6 oz of Chameleon Cold-Brew Black Coffee, add 2-3 teaspoons.

Pecan Syrup

Ingredients

1 cup maple syrup

1 cup brown sugar

2 cups water

1 tsp sea salt

2 tsp butter extract

2 cinnamon sticks

1/8 tsp freshly ground nutmeg

Instructions

1. Bring all ingredients to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes.

2. Remove from heat and let cool before refrigerating.

3. To 6 oz of Chameleon Cold-Brew Black Coffee, add 4 teaspoons.

Caramel Syrup

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups cane sugar

2 1/2 cups water

1/8 tsp vanilla powder

Instructions

1. Dissolve can sugar into 1 cup water over low heat.

2. Turn up heat to medium-high and let boil, undisturbed, until deep amber in color.

3. Brush down the sides of the pan with a wet pastry brush as needed.

4. Immediately remove from heat, stir in remaining water cautiously to avoid a burn from splatter.

5. When the mixture’s bubbling slows, stir in remaining ingredients.

6. Let cool before refrigerating.

7. To 6 oz of Chameleon Cold-Brew Black Coffee, add 4 teaspoons.
