While you can prepare your coffee any way you want, we recommend brewing Dark, Black & Bold using the French Press brew method.
Dark, Black & Bold: French Press
Place 5 TBSP of coarsely ground coffee in a French Press.
Pour 8 oz of boiling water over the grounds and let them bloom for 30 seconds.
Add the remaining 8 oz of water to the French Press. With the plunger up, let the coffee steep for 4 minutes.
1. Use freshly ground coffee for the richest flavor and smoothest brew.
2. Water quality makes a big impact on your coffee’s flavor! So always use clean, filtered water.
3. Brew tastes a little off? Try adjusting the grind size. If it’s light and sour, try a finer grind. If it’s dark and bitter, try a coarser grind.
