Coffee, Evolved

Make it Yours

Congratulations! You’ve taken the first step on the path of convenient, high quality coffee by purchasing a bottle of Chameleon Cold-Brew. Now, what do you do with it?  It’s fairly simple really. Start asking yourself some simple questions: Hot or cold? Sweet?  Creamy? As you answer these questions start mixing! Remember, as you create your perfect concoction you don’t want to overdo it.  You can always add more of your favorite things, but if you add too much you can’t take it out. Taste as you go to get it just how you want it and be sure to write down what you’ve done and email us your recipe. The possible flavor combinations using Chameleon are almost limitless. Below are some of our favorites.  Enjoy!

Traditional Hot

1 Part Chameleon Cold-Brew
1 Part Water

Mix equal parts Chameleon Cold-Brew and water in your favorite mug, mason jar, teapot or stockpot. Heat in microwave or on stove top to desired temperature. If it cools off later, you can reheat it without the bitterness typical of reheated heat-brewed coffee.

    FAUX IRISH COFFEE (Non-Alcoholic)

Blend Chameleon Cold Brew with Caramel Syrup, St. Benoit Milk and heat gently just to the boiling point. Serve topped with whipped cream and a sprinke of dedemerara sugar. (Of course, you can make it real with Bushmill or Jamesons Irish Whiskey!)

Hey, love the cold brew. I did find out the first day that it has to be respected or expect a big caffeine rush.

Here’s my recipe for Cold Brew Mousse.

    1 cup Chilled light cream.
1/2 cup (or so) Chameleon Cold Brew
1 or 2 T. Organic Sugar (or equivalent of your favorite sweetener) to taste.
1/2 ts. Organic Vanilla Extract (optional)
1/4 C. Toasted Chopped Nuts as a garnish.

Mix everything but the nuts until dissolved. Had to a cream whipper. Add cartridge to the whipper and spray into wine glasses. Chill or serve immediately. Place chopped nuts on the top prior to serving.

    • AdminLizard says:

Wow, great idea to use the whipper. We’ll serve this one to friends on the 4th of July. Thanks!

    Cool Chameleon Cold Brew Yogurt

1 C. Chilled Unsweetened Greek Yogurt
    1/3 C. Chameleon Cold Brew
1 or 2 T. of Good Local Honey or Grade A Maple Syrup or a bit of both. ;=)
1/2 Ounce Chopped Toffee or a Semisweet Chocolate. (Organic Chocolate will melt in your hands and is considered the best quality)

Mix chilled Greek yogurt and the coffee until smooth. Serve in a small bowl with a drizzle of the honey, or maple syrup. Top with the toffee or the chocolate.

Please note that some chocolates are made by child and slave labor, so be sure to know where your chocolate comes from! Find chocolate from individual farm sources. They taste better when their workers are fairly paid.

  10. HWF says:

My buddy shared this killer pre-workout shake:

    - Coconut milk (the good stuff in a can, not processed crap) or whole milk if you do dairy
    - protein powder of choice
    - splash of Chameleon

    easily customizable!

I have started making “Bulletproof” cold brew! I use:
    1/4 c. cold brew
    3/4 c. boiling water
    1-1.5 TBL coconut oil
    1 pkt. raw sugar

I toss all this in the Magic Bullet (you have to let it cool a little or it will explode all over the place) or use my immersion blender and blend it until frothy. It tastes so creamy and amazing, it’s a great “Good Morning” treat to start your day!

  12. Naomi says:

I’ve been using 1 part chocolate almond milk to one part Cold brew… the best stuff EVAR! *clap clap clap!

  13. alexandra awesome says:

1/4 to 1/2 cold brew with 1/2 to 3/4 coca cola (mexican coca cola recommended). mix and serve over ice… tasty.

So far, the drink that I’ve made for my family is an Iced Coffee.

    Iced Coffee Drink

    Ingredients:
    -2 cups of ice
-4 to 6 tbsps. of Chameleon coffee (depending on how strong you want it)
-4 to 6 tbsps. of milk or almond milk or rice milk (I use raw goat’s milk)
-2 to 3 tsps. of pure cane sugar (or honey or agave nectar)
    -2 tbsps. of boiling water
(You’ll also need a mug, a pint sized glass, and something to stir with.)

    Directions:
Fill the large glass with ice to about nearly (3/4) full. Add the desired amounts of the Chameleon coffee and milk to the glass with the ice.

In a separate vessel (in this case a mug), mix together the hot water and the sugar until the sugar is dissolved.

When sugar is fully dissolved, pour the sugar water (even though it may still be warm) into the pint-sized glass with the coffee and milk. Stir generously with a drink (cocktail) stirrer…or in my case with a long table knife.

In the end, make it your own. It might be good to add some powdered cocoa to the hot water mix for a chocolaty version.

    Enjoy!

    Servings: 1 drink

Shot of Chameleon Cold Brew in a Convict Hill Oatmeal Stout or a Left Hand Milk Stout.

    Yes, please.

  18. HWF says:

    Chameleon cupcakes:

    Box of cake mix
    8-10 ounces Chameleon Cold Brew

Mix ingredients (do not add eggs or oil, etc.). Fill cupcake pan and bake as directed (typically 19-22 minutes at 350).

    Chameleon icing:

    2 cups confectioners’ sugar
    1/4 cup butter, softened
    3 tablespoons Chameleon
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
pinch of pumpkin pie spice (or cinnamon)

Beat ingredients together until smooth. (You can also cheat and just add Chameleon to canned frosting but it can get a bit runny)

    Hi,
I’m originally from New Orleans and while visiting there
I discovered my friends were all drinking “Cool Brew,”
a coffee drink like yours. I called my HEB office in San Antonio and asked them to look into stocking the drink.
Lo and Behold! They actually looked into it and decided to get your product (Chameleon) starting next month!
Congratulations! I can’t wait to try it!

    • AdminLizard says:

Thanks, Roger. The Chameleon should land at HEB in about 4 more weeks. Track us on Facebook for updates about the release, specials, and all things Chameleon.
      Cheers, Team CCB.

  20. Daniel says:

Probably not many of us that enjoy good coffee and also working out like CRAY, I use 2 scoops of Dymatize Chocolate whey protein mixed in with 2 cups of cold brew before I go workout in the morning. It is amazing!
